Fuji Rock Festival 2012 Update
Here's an update on Hikashu's appearance at Fuji Rock Festival 2012.
Billed as "Gojira-Hoshanou-Hikashu" [Godzilla Legend-Radioactivity-Hikashu], the band will appear two times on different stages on July 29, the last day of this year's festival. The location and time schedule are as follows:
11:30-12:20 Orange Court
16:30-17:00 Atomic Cafe [held at Gypsy Avalon]
Also, Makigami will take part in a panel discussion on the ongoing Nuke problem at Atomic Cafe, starting at 17:10.
The personel is the same as the christmas concert last year except one additional member - Mariannne Shinonome on vocal, from Kinoco Hotel. There's a speculation that the ensemble might prepare a featured number for her.
Again, this is an opportunity indeed. Hikashu, Charan-Po-Rantan, the members from the Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra playing the music from the classic monster movies together. It sounds so great and it really is. Right now, there is no further plan for this ensemble and maybe this is the last chance to see them live, so do not miss it.
To confirm the location of the stages, consult with the Stage Information page on Fuji Rock Festival official website.
Note: revised and corrected on July 5 for time schedule and personel.
